VSJM LLC ("VSJM") acts as controller of the personal data collected through VSJM. This policy sets out what we collect, why we collect it, how long it is kept, who can access it, and what rights you hold.

Legal framework
Personal data is processed in line with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) and any other rules applicable in Japan. If this policy conflicts with the law, the law takes precedence.
What we collect
Placing an order gives us what is needed to deliver it: name, delivery address, email, phone number and the contents of the order. Card data is never collected or stored on this site. Browsing the site records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, through the cookies described below.

Why we use it
- To process and deliver orders, and to manage returns.
- To respond to your questions and send updates on your order.
- To keep the site secure and to measure how it is used.
- To send offers, only if you subscribed to them; every message includes an option to unsubscribe.
Who receives this data
Couriers receive the delivery details needed to deliver your order. The payment provider receives what is needed to process the payment. Hosting and analytics providers process data on our behalf, under contract. Personal data is never sold.
VSJM does not sell, rent, or trade personal data to any third party. All personal data handling complies with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI); the CCPA/CPRA does not apply, as VSJM operates for the Japanese market.
How long we retain it
Order data is kept for as long as accounting law requires, then deleted. Account data is kept until the account is closed. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
Under Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), overseen by the Personal Information Protection Commission (PPC), customers have the right to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal data, and to request that VSJM cease using their data for specified purposes. Requests can be submitted to service@VSJM and will be processed in accordance with APPI timelines.
Security
VSJM does not collect, process, or store any bank card or payment card data of any kind, because checkout offers only Cash on Delivery, paid directly to the courier upon receipt, and Direct Bank Transfer, with transfer details provided in the order confirmation email. No cardholder data ever passes through our systems.
