The goods
VSJM sells bottled hot sauces, chili-based condiments, and spice-forward culinary flavoring products intended for retail food use, prepared and packaged in accordance with applicable food safety and labeling standards for the Japanese market. Each product page lists what is included, the quantity, and the form it takes. Photos are illustrative; actual packaging may differ slightly.
Ordering and contract
An order is placed once checkout is completed. We confirm it by email, and the contract takes effect when the goods are dispatched. We may decline an order if stock is unavailable or the details cannot be verified; any payment received is then refunded.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in JPY and include VAT where it applies. Delivery cost is shown at checkout, before payment. Accepted payment methods: Cash on delivery, Bank transfer. An obvious pricing error may be corrected before dispatch; in that case you are asked to confirm or cancel the order.
Delivery
Delivery options, timeframes and costs are listed on the Delivery & Payment page. Risk passes to you at the moment the goods are handed over.
Product images and colours
Product photos show the goods as we ship them. Colour on your screen depends on its calibration, the browser and the ambient light; a minor difference in shade is not a defect and is not grounds for a free return or compensation. Bottle size, ingredients and contents are stated on each product page.
Transfer of risk
The goods remain our responsibility until the courier hands them to you, or to the person you named at the address you provided. From that point, the risk of loss or damage passes to you. Any visible transport damage should be noted with the courier and reported to us within 48 hours.
Returns and warranty
Goods may be returned within 30 days of delivery, as set out on the Returns page. VSJM warrants that each bottle of hot sauce is quality-controlled at production, sealed for freshness, and labeled in accordance with applicable Japanese food labeling requirements. Should a product arrive spoiled, mislabeled, or with a compromised seal through no fault of the customer, VSJM will replace the item or issue a refund upon verification.
